Nice alternative to MMC Event Viewer snap-in Has some needed features like in-line description and log loading options. Quick filter also useful.Has some GUI bugs and needs several improvements, eg quick filter should be kept after refresh...I succesfully watched log at my network server, it was more convinient and quick than in MMC Event Viewer snap-in.

Free log file viewer for Windows Kiwi Log Viewer (Win) 2.0 Kiwi Log Viewer for Windows is a freeware application that displays text based log files in a tabular format. Only a small section of the file is read from disk at a time which saves memory and allows you to view a file that would be too big to fit in memory. The tail option monitors the specified log file for changes and displays any new data that is added in real time. Features colorization based on sub-string or RegExp matches

Prefer some other application. Thanks!

I usually don\'t take time to write negative reviews, but I was very disappointed with Kiwi log view and hope that this review will in some way encourage SolarWinds to update Kiwi. The negative points are:1. Free version has disabled convenient features like the drag-and-drop of log files to open them - the result is that you have choose \"File\"->\"Open\" and navigate to your log file2. The free version only supports highlighting for two different criteria - at this point I stopped even evaluating the product because with BareTail I setup highlighting for TRACE, DEBUG, INFO, WARN, ...

I found this very useful and I didn\'t find anything else that worked the way I wanted. I use it to review combat logs from an MMORPG I play so I can see how and why I got my butt kicked in PVP. It was perfect for my needs.

This is an excellent application. Exactly what I was looking for. We have multiple log files that all require different highlighting to be easily readable. With this, I have created and saved multiple \"favorite\" highlight layouts. I designed an automated process so users can click a button on a GUI interface to view different logs, then Kiwi opens to the correct log and changes the highlighting to the correct favorite. I\'m very pleased with this program. Thanks!

This program did the trick for me - just used it to filter logs for particular usernames

I think this is a brilliant little tool. I'm not sure yet exactly how I will use it but I think it could come in very handy. CheersJames
